Chatsworth

The bus takes a long time. But it's only about 20 minutes by metrolink train. There's only one stop in between.

It looks like the Metrolink ride from Chatsworth to Moorpark is 33 minutes long. The City of Moorpark Bus Route 2 then takes about 10 minutes to get to the campus. The fun thing will be coordinating the two schedules (posted below) GOOD LUCK !!

It is way too early to speculate on the cause. I thought that it probably might be human error, but I'm not sure now. There are sidings on either side of Santa Susanna Pass, one of which appears to be only a half mile or so from the crash site. The freighter was already past the Simi Valley siding several minutes before impact. That is an up and down hill grade with 4 tunnels. Freighter is doing maybe 20 mph over the hill while the Metro is slowing through 40-50 before going uphill. At first glance, it would seem that the freighter would have right-of-way. For sure, there was a failure in the system and or communication somewhere. It is also puzzling as to how the last 2 cars of the Metro detached and stayed upright. The line should be open for the Monday commute.

I suggest to make it easir on you start at the the chatsworth (or northridge metrolink station ) (there are more connections there) okay from Chatsworth (or Northridge) Metrolink station as your starting point take metrolink to the van Nuys station,(make sure to get a round trip ticket) then take the 761 bus from kester/Van Nuys take this bus to Westwood/Wilshire then transfer to a Metro 720 to ocean and Colorado then transfer again to the Metro 564 to Malibu the good thing about all this is that your metrolink ticket is valid for all the transfers) now this route would only work on Weekdays if its weekend you will need a lot of cash or have to will have to buy tap card before hand) and load it with $5.00 on the bus for this routing you wiil need to take 158 to Arleta and Van nuys then the same routing about (761/720/534) if you dont have a tap card you would be pay $1.25 for each bus you board you can no longer get a day pass from the bus operators also note that after memorial day most years the Los Angeles county offer a beach bus from Topanga Canyon and Ventura to Santa Monica (NOTE this is NOT a metro bus but some times a charter bus (some years it was a school bus)

Preschool is not paid for by the state so therefore it is not public school. There are different classes such as Mommy and Me and other classes that you can enroll your child in through the adult education. We have one over here in Simi Valley. You can also check out preschools through some of the univercities. They offer preschool/daycare type classes on campus. Another option is through park and rec. The last option I can think of is calling L.A. Unified and ask them if they have any Head Start Preschools in your area.

Try searching the internet for Maltese rescue in your area and check with the local animal shelters. Remember you do get what you pay for. A cheap dog may likely have health problems. At least if you adopt through a rescue they can tell you about the dog health wise as well as temperament wise.
