can i raise sheep in la canada flintridge ca?

Yes, you can raise sheep, if you have the proper sized and zoned lot, and follow the restrictions. You can have 2 on a 15,000 sq ft lot, and up to 5 total, but you need an extra 5000 sq ft for each of the additional 3 sheep. Here is part of the ordinance: 11.32.060 Livestock and farm fowl permitted as an accessory use. A. Horses, donkeys, mules, cows, steers, sheep, goats, and other hoofed animals may be kept or maintained for the personal use of the occupants of premises in the R-1 zones on parcels having a minimum area of fifteen thousand (15,000) square feet and containing a single-family residential dwelling structure, subject to the following restrictions: There are lots of restrictions, go here to find them: http://qcode.us/codes/lacanadaflintridge/ Click on Title 11 Zoning > Click on Chapter 11.32 ANIMAL KEEPING AND ANIMAL CLUBS IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES > Click on 11.32.060 Livestock and farm fowl permitted as an accessory use. Also, read other ordinances that might be important, so you get the whole picture. If you keep sheep, be sure the smell doesn't bother the neighbors, they will make sure that stops happening, quickly, trust me. Also, you have to consider the coyotes, mountain lions and the occasional bear. Several dogs have been attacked by coyotes recently, and a mountain lion got a friend's big dog in La Crescenta awhile back. Good luck!

Paradise Valley residents in La Canada Flintridge, CA?

How are the DESCANSO GARDENS in La Caņada Flintridge, Ca for students with mental/physical disablities?

When I went there my brother-in-law used his wheelchair and I don't remember him having any problems. As you may already know their website says that many of their asphalt pathways are wheelchair accessible. http://www.descansogardens.org/site/general.cfm

Is La Caņada Flintridge, CA a good place too live?

La Canada is a very good neighborhood... very very expensive though. Like a country club but larger, so there's no such things as a bad La Canada neighborhood. But the schools in the area are good, plus Foothill Blvd goes right through and there's a lot of good shops, and really good YMCA... and pretty much all the houses are good, it's a very rich neighborhood; there are a lot of newer housing developments if that's what you fancy, but there are smaller one-story houses as well. I know some family friends who live in the smaller houses and it's fine. There's a movie theater right there, plus Verdugo Hills Hospital, Descanso Gardens, a really good library, plenty of restaurants, some public parks... yeah. The entire area around La Canada is good... JPL is right next door in Altadena, and you're right by downtown Pasadena and fairly close to downtown Glendale.

ok i need some help on scholarships to some boarding schools

Miss Porter's is probably the most well-known of those that you listed. When it comes down to financial aid, go to the websites of the school's that you want to go, click the admissions section, and there will almost definitely be a financial aid page. Case and point: http://www.porters.org/podium/default.aspx?t=104945 Financial aid and scholarships mean that you must have a record of near perfect grades and once you are admitted you must keep those grades at a near perfect level. I'm afraid these schools do not tend to give financial aid to "average" students, so hopefully you won't have a problem with that. You mentioned you had good grades, it just depends on how good they are. I hate to tell you this, but you will have drugs, alcohol, and sex at boarding schools as well, it's just less evident and open. If you're used to co-ed schools then a change to all-girl may be a great thing or a very bad thing for you. It all depends on what you really want. It's easy to get overwhelmed with how a school sounds and looks, but in reality, most schools are less than what they seem. If you keep your expectations lower, the chance of you being disappointed is also lower. As far as admissions goes, you are not locked into going to that school if you don't receive financial aid. Also, if you get accepted into more than one boarding school you can choose either one, unless there is a policy that says "by applying to this school you must go here if accepted etc", then you're free to choose. There are different levels of financial aid and you'll have to consider this, mostly it depends on whether or not your parents are below the required income bracket or not, at other schools, it's different. Like I said before, go to the websites of the schools you really want to go to and look at their financial aid information. Also look at what students and former students are saying about the school at places like: Boarding School Review, of course. http://www.boardingschoolreview.com/all-girls-boarding-schools.php/ Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_boarding_schools#United_States and finally, find out what students and alumni are saying at Yahoo! Answers. Best of luck.
