Hi Antonio, I am assuming that there is no Ninjutsu classes listed in the yellowbook. The best way to see if there is any school available is to contact known ninjutsu organizations to see if they have instructors available in your area. There are many instructors that maintains a non-commercial dojo, and this is the primary why you won't see these guys in any advertisements. Good luck in your training endeavor !

Are you going to a public school - do they have a counselor who can help you find a job? You posted this in technology, what kind of experience or skills do you have? I know some teens in the tech field near you, but they work for their parents' companies. Maybe you can find volunteer work in the field you want as a way to gain experience and to show prospective employers that you can handle that job? Your school counselor should have info on volunteer organizations. It sounds like you're doing all the right things and like you're a smart kid, try not to take the situation personally. The job market is really bad right now, adults are being hired for jobs that traditionally have gone to teens. Lots of adults with families are out of work. For the last year, it's been much tougher for teens to get jobs. : ( Maybe you should try for any kind of job, just to get experience and to show future employers that you are dependable and motivated. Did you try all those fast food places on Foothill? What about businesses in Glendale? Google: Jobs for Teens maybe one of those websites will help you. Gerrish Swim & Tennis Club in Pasadena opens up in April, lots of teens work there, especially from the local private schools. You don't mention your age, but for summer jobs I'll also suggest two local camps, usually camps start looking for summer employees now around now. It's pretty plain, a little old-fashioned. The layout is almost identical to the infamous Bates Motel from "Psycho." Because it looks so much like a typical Route 66-type motel, a lot of film crews make use of it. Numerous TV shows have been shot there.

LaCrescenta. It's very nice, much of the commercial area is newish, nice people, somewhat diverse, big Korean community (but where are the good Korean BBQs?!), nice variety of homes, pretty environment and hopefully no more mudslides. LaCrescenta has very good public schools, great private schools nearby. Big malls and all kinds of shopping nearby in Glendale, Burbank and Pasadena. Lots of outdoor activities, easy to get to other places in LA, the 2 is nearby and is usually not too crowded. You can check safety stats here: http://www.lalife.com/

Any grocery store with a bakery department does custom cakes, but with limitations. Usually they will have a catalog of the various cakes they do, with sheet cakes being the most common. If you're looking to get a 7 tiered wedding-style cake from a grocery store, you're probably out of luck.

I sort of know that area. I used to live out there. I know there's a Calvary Chapel in Pasadena. The pastor is Xavier Ries brother of Raul Ries who's the pastor of Calvary Chapel in San Dimas. I used to go there. There might be others out there near you, but you'll have to look in the phone book. I know the heart of CC of Pasadena so I'd recommend it but I don't know about the other ones. Just wondering why this is in the drawing section.
