Metro bus # 460 is your best value. It travels through La Mirada along Alondra Blvd, and stops at cross streets such as: Carmenita, Commerce Way, Marquardt,Valley View, Heron, Phoebe, Trojan Way, Stage, and Barbata. With 15 patrons you may be able to get some kind of group discount on the Disneyland tickets if you call them in advance. Have lots of fun, and good luck in trying to get all of them to leave the park on time.

Don't EVER buy a dog. There are so many dogs killed every day in the shelters because people purchase pets instead of adopting. I'm sure there is a border collie in the local shelter.

The 710 and the 605 never meet up, so you can't get there that way. I would take the 405 south, and then go straight up the 605 to the 91. Other options instead of the 405 that will take you to the 605 are both Willow, and Spring up by Long Beach airport, or you can go across 7th St and follow the signs to the 605 North. It's VERY easy going this way across 7th, so you might try that, too. Depending on where in La Mirada, you can take Beach Blvd going north from the 91 instead of mucking about on the 5. Another option is to take Orangethorpe from the 91, head west (turn left at the bottom of the ramp), and then north on Valley View into La Mirada. When you look on a map, La Mirada is about a mile from the 91 freeway, so just take Orangethorpe or Beach, and save yourself some time and headaches. :D

Unfortunately there are no airport in La Mirada, California. The closest airport with commercial flights is Santa Ana/Orange County SNA, which is approximately a 26 minute drive.
